X-E-Does

Chris Maxey aka X-E-Dos became immersed in the UK rave music phenomena at the age of 16 when he worked in Replay Records in Bath. His first release came in 1996 and over the next 4 years he released under various monikers for labels such as Street Beats (a subsidiary of Basement Records), Hard Leaders & Tech Itch. Formed the Coalition in the early noughties alongside Luke McMillan, aka The DJ Producer and they continued releasing their wares on Hard Leaders & Rebel Scum amongst other labels. After a decade or so of raising children, he returned as X-E-Dos again with releases on Ghetto Dubz, Boomsha, Monochrome, Giidup and now Compound Recs. He still loves to dice and splice original funk breaks, weird noises and atmospherics to create music thats not quite the norm….
